Memorial Scrolls Trust – Quarterly Newsletter Issue 1

by Solel Announcements, May 31, 2016

Solel is proud to be the custodian of one of the 1,600 Torah scrolls rescued by the Memorial Scrolls Trust (MST, www.memorialscrollstrust.org) from an abandoned warehouse in the Czech Republic. These scrolls were looted by the Nazis from synagogues across Bohemia and Moravia during the Second World War. Now, through the MST, these scrolls have been distributed to Jewish communities all around the globe as a symbol of the resilience of the Jewish people.

The MST has recently begun publishing a electronic newsletter full of interesting news and stories about the scrolls and their origins. You can read the first issue of the Memorial Scrolls Trust Newsletter to find out more.
