I had such a great time at Solel's Casino Nite & Dinner that I can't wait for the next one scheduled for March 2013! Karen Smith and her team did a fabulous job arranging and running the evening, a hearty Yesher Koach and thank you to all those involved. Between the tickets sold, the balloon pop and the silent auction items Solel's share of the proceeds are just over $18,000, with a sizable donation to Armagh. I want to thank all of the Solelniks that attended, sold tickets to their families and friends and so generously supported both great causes! Our fundraising goal remains $38,000 for this year in order to balance our budget, and we have a few upcoming events to help us reach our target.

December is upon us and that means Solel's Trivia Night combined with Sisterhood's Potluck. It promises to be a great evening of fun, and at such a low price of $10.99 in advance or $15 at the door, it can't be beat!

I'm already dreaming of latkes, dradles, saufignot and lighting the Menorah. I look forward to seeing everyone at the Solel Hanukah party on Monday December 26th from 1 - 3:00 pm.
