Our Volunteers - Generous Givers …
Winston Churchill once said, "You make a living by
what you earn. You make a life by what you give."
Volunteering is a form of giving, and giving has its own
reward: the gift of feeling that you have helped to make
a difference. It doesn't matter whether you give a few hours
a week, a month or a year, whether you're young or old or
in between, or rich or poor. Your gift can be phoning those
who are ill or organizing big events, baking cookies or
teaching at Bet Sefer. The "little" bits add up
to a "big" bit, and that's how change and improvement
come about. It's also what has made Solel the wonderful
community that it is.
