Solel is your Jewish home west of Toronto. We provide a welcoming place for Jews from all backgrounds to come together to pray, learn and enjoy the richness of Jewish life. We work to promote understanding, cooperation and social justice within our wider community. Whether you are a liberal or a traditional Jew, Jewish-adjacent or even just curious, all are welcome.

Solel members are the core of our community. Join us by making an annual pledge of support. We are a welcoming and caring congregation that is strengthened by members who come from diverse backgrounds. Our school is renowned and our services are joyous. We have many programmes that inspire and educate our members. There are a lot of great reasons to make Solel your Jewish home. We’d like to get to know you so that we can show you why we think Solel is so special. We hope you’ll think so too.
Support Our Living Torah Project
As a gift to all generations, our Living Torah Project will culminate in the dedication of a brand new Torah scroll. The Torah has been the legacy for the Jewish people. It guides our lives and unifies our voices. We raise it and read from it. Debate it and embrace it. Live by it and die for it. And now we have the privilege to write it. Support One of Our Special Funds
Solel has many special funds dedicated to supporting our Jewish community and the broader community in which we live and pray. Talk to us about what you’re most passionate about and we’ll help you choose a project that will benefit greatly from your support.

Make a Commemorative Donation
Are you celebrating a special milestone in your life or the life of a loved one? Do you want to remember someone dear to you who has passed away? Solel has commemorative donation programs like our Yahrtzeit Memorial wall plaques, Jerusalem Wall Bricks program, and commemorative prayer book plates which are a wonderful way to mark a special or important occasion.
